National Account Manager
Our client is a leading manufacturer of Wall Art based in Greater Manchester, supplying bespoke product ranges to national and key retail accounts. They are supported by their own exclusive artists, comprehensive in-house publishing facilities, a strong internal Design Team and the ability to produce to any brief within short lead times from their UK manufacturing base.
This Business Development role will involve responsibility for the on-going development and creation of national and key accounts. It will involve developing a finished product range to specific requirements with an emphasis on colour and material costs/margins.
Working alongside the Managing Director you would be involved in understanding target account markets and developing finished wall art from product briefs in conjunction with their Design and Production teams. You would work predominately from their head office with some time on the road as you successfully develop bespoke ranges and expand their existing National Account customer base. Current customers include John Lewis, Laura Ashley and DFS.
The successful candidate would have previous experience of the following:
• Account Management, preferably national accounts and specific experience in product development.
• good sales skills and a commercial understanding of cost and profit margins.
• Familiar with design and trend awareness and although not essential any Photoshop or design skills would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with home furnishing trends and any art/design background would also be beneficial.
