Our client based in Wrexham is looking to add an Accounts administrator to their small and friendly team. This position is being offered as a part time position up to 25hours per week based on the versatility of the successful candidate.
Job Description:
They are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Financial Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their team in Wrexham. The ideal candidate will have an AAT qualification and a strong background in financial administration and bookkeeping. As a Financial Accounts Admin / Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining the financial stability for their company. You will be aiding external accountants in getting information collected for reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Desired experience and qualifications- AAT qualification is required.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software particularly Sage and Xero.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
