  • Sysco buys Brakes for $3.1bn
  • DSV acquired UTi Worldwide in a $1.35bn deal
  • Amazon moves into 1.3m sq ft hub creating at least 2000 jobs
  • Due to revenue boosts, Ted Baker moves logistics operation to new 323,000 sq ft logistics hub creating 250 new vacancies

According to thelogisticsguild.com they predicated substantial value growth in acquisitions and mergers from 2014 to 2015, and this is far exceeded in the first quarter of 2016 globally.
