An exciting opportunity has arisen for the BJD Group to find an experienced Transport Administrator to assist in the management of the gatehouse of incoming deliveries and debriefing department for a large fast paced 3PL company.
The position is based in Whitchurch and is offering up to £21,000 depending on experience.
Shifts are night shift, 7pm – 7am 4 on 4 off.
As Transport Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring that all drivers tachographs are complete, checked and inline with legislation, importing data and delivering a first class service to the end customer.
You will also be responsible for briefing and debriefing drivers, ensuring that all departments are working accordingly to provide the best service to accompany the transport, delivery and customer satisfaction service provided.
Your Duties will include:
• Produce reports as requested.
• Ensure all drivers adhere to the strict compliance and legislation laws.
• Monitoring safety performance
• Ensuring all goods are receipted and matched in relevant systems
• Completing appropriate paperwork to deadlines.
To apply for this role you must have administration experience in logistics.
• Experience with Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
• Must be able to work well in a fast paced team environment.
