Are you an experienced Tanker Operations Manager who is able to lead the full logistics operation from Transport to sub contractor and supplier negotiations? The successful candidate for the role of Tanker Operations Manager will be based out of Widnes, operating throughout Europe. On offer is a competitive salary of £45,000.
The Company is a fast growing and ambitious bulk liquid company with various contracts throughout Europe, who use high volumes of subcontractors.
As Tanker Operations Manager you will have responsibility for ensuring the efficient running of the logistics operation throughout Europe from the Widnes depot. Working together with the transport planning and administration team you will make sure the product is delivered to it's destination in a safe and time critical manner ensuring customers and contract expectations are met.. Your duties will include:-
• Managing and ensuring that the customers requirements are met at all times
• Rate agreements and negotiation
• Monitor subcontractor performance.
• Recognising opportunities for service improvement and implementing this with your team.
• Delivery of effective transport performance
• Ensuring the fleet is operating within transport budgets
• Strong H&S background
To apply for the position of Tanker Operations Manager you must have at least 2 years managerial experience within transport in a fast paced, tanker operation environment, operating throughout Europe and the U.K.
