BJD Group is recruiting a Manager of Project Solutions, for a leading recycling company based in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting edge company focused on innovative approaches to tackle and transform waste.

They are offering a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience for an 8 month FTC (with the potential to extend)

The Role

In your role your responsibilities will include:

• Work with relevant teams to develop innovative recycling solutions

• Research and develop Supply Chain for products and packaging to be recycled within Europe

• Effective vendor management – across warehouses, logistics and processing partners

• Manage customer relationships

• Identify processing partners who possess relevant equipment required for specific recycling processes

• Source outlets and customers (UK and Europe) who might use the materials, produced by the company, in their Supply Chain

• Source companies and negotiate recycling partnerships and product payments

• Manage relevant waste legislation and regulatory requirements

• Qualify and on-board partners -through site trial visits and agreed commercials

• Manage the transition of new partners to European Operations Team

• Be the dedicated Project Lead for sales opportunities

• Source material for specific projects

• Act as the lead on regulatory and process controls for European Business

• Identify and advise on waste legislation for logistics, storage and processing

• Develop new processes and identify relevant changes to improve Supply Chain

• Manage budgets and track revenue

• Manage and support junior project managers

The Person

To apply for the role of Manager of Project Solutions you must also possess:

• Knowledge of Recycling Legislation

• Supply Chain Experience

• Materials Procurement experience

• Experience with Financial Reporting and Budgets

• Strong analytical skills and pay a high attention to detail

• Successful negotiating skills

• Effective communicator

• Fluent in English and French (another European language is beneficial)

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Team management experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Interest is sustainable/green business
